What AFTO form is used to document accrued aircraft and engine time? Different aircraft have different spots where the forms might be, so ask someone from your shop where they are usually stored.
You do the aircraft they do the IT! For example, a 4 engine cargo plane may shut down two of it’s engines during a “Hot Load” operation where cargo is loaded in a hurry and you don’t want to risk having trouble getting the engines started again, or the base you are at for, not have the jj equipment required to get the engines started.
But it would be fun to see how you reacted to situations when you were in charge of a multi-million dollar acft.

Later they changed them to a form and even later we went to a system called CAMS where each person input his info into the computer then later we went to another blah blah blah system and now we spend more time on the computer inputing the job than the actual job takes, plus you still have to fill out the paper ‘s.

Just to delay the onset of Alzheimer’s, they say brain exercise does that, where was the individual aircraft weight and balance information kept? That’s not saying there weren’t, I just don’t remember doing that. For a number of reasons, all engines on an aircraft may not be run the same amount. Probably a dumb question, but I’ll bet some of you guys know the answers to my question!

The AFTO FORM series collectively provides a maintenance, inspection, service, configuration, status, and flight record for the particular aerospace vehicles and trainers for which they are maintained. While at Sewart we had to account for every minute of the day shift in the forms, then turn them in to the bread truck or the line chief.
