To ask the hard question is simple. A church that prospers in the life of Christ. The author speaks of what he knows and has the battle scars to prove it. It made me look at what “Church” had been defined in my mind and change that image to what church is really supposed to be.

If mmcmanus have innovative ideas, carry them through to their terminus! As a Pastor of a small church in a rural area, I know personally that the churches that need growth the most cannot relate to the modernistic terminology that is prevalent in his book.
I plan to reread this again soon. Great book on planting a church that captures the heart of God’s spirit for the people we’re surrounded by.

If they can conquer those fears, they too can begin to gain momentum in their church — momentum that will sky rocket their spiritual growth as a congregation and put them on the path to becoming the kind of church God had in mind.
Erwin Raphael McManus holds a B. He also writes that as a leader displays his values through both his actions and his words, his followers will soon reflect the same I do not know. I had to read and reread many of the sections, yet still did not grasp the entirety of his message. When a person begins to invest their service out of a love for God and for people, it has a magnetic effect on those around them.
From this unxtoppable, the church can find the strength and wherewithal to transform a culture and to not only produce followers of Jesus Christ, but also to be a part of a movement of Jesus Unsoppable.
While Unstoppable offers key insights into both the workings of contemporary culture and the place of believers inside that culture, it inadequately shows how these insights could be applied to the American church as a whole.
The book seemed to be more geared towards those who McManus desires to reach, rather than those that he is trying to encourage IE: A “force” created to change the world. I was expecting a book much deeper in the theology of the church — a book that used that theology to lay a foundation that could be used to grow a church.
Most important for the survival of the church are healthy relationships, both internally among the members and externally amidst the seekers Aug 04, Aaron Thomas added it. I guarantee that the only problems you will solve are ones that you engage, and the only problems that you engage are ones that you perceive.
