At times it took my breath away. I'm completely co.
So much action and fights! However the series has its quiet moments, too.
The greatest personal focus lies on the bond Rose and Lissa share as best friends and their spiritual bond that's pretty special for Moroi standards. Rose can feel what Lissa's feeling and in certain moments even see through Lissa's eyes. At first this was a very fun aspect about their friendship.
Vampire Academy: VA all the way - Spoilers.: SPOILERS! Last Sacrifice CAUTION Showing of 86
The more often Rose visited Lissa's body though, story lows occurred. Sometimes I just felt like skipping these scenes altogether. Rose is the breakaway, tough and sexy warrior. They are body and mind, friends who rule the hearts of many readers. They are lucky to have been gifted with two equally appealling love stories, slightly erotic, romantic and steamy for sure.
Lissa finds Christian, an outsider, who was not even looking for acceptance until he met Lissa. They are healing each other from the wounds of their pasts and click together like a puzzle meant to exist. And Rose gets her love story with Dimitri. Just like everyone told me, that guy is sexy! Their difference in age and experience puts a forbidden touch to their love story. He is her instructor and she is supposed to keep her hands off him.
Is that a dare?
Vampire Academy: Last Sacrifice (book 6)
I don't remember it as overly significant to the story, not remarkable character development-wise. That evening, the four leave to meet up with Mikhail near Court; Adrian comes along and witnesses a kiss between Dimitri and Rose.
More pressing matters are at hand as they head back to Court, Mikhail and Rose having just gotten information from Sydney and the Alchemists confirming who the killer is.
Back at Court and in front of the Council and assembled Moroi, Rose presents Jill as part of the Dragomir bloodline, arguing that this enables Lissa to become Queen. Then she reveals to everyone that Tasha is the one who killed the queen, as she hated Tatiana's policies about dhampirs and Moroi. Rose also silently notices that Tasha has longed for Dimitri the entire time, which is why Tasha framed Rose for the murder.
As guardians attempt to take in Tasha, she grabs a gun and holds Mia hostage. Lissa hurries forward in an attempt to compel her to stop, but Tasha makes a rash decision, shooting at Lissa. Rose jumps in front of Lissa and takes the bullet in her chest. Her final glimpse is of Lissa and Dimitri standing over her as she blacks out. A few days later, she awakens in a palace room with Dimitri by her side.
Both are finally able to be open about their relationship. Yes, I get that it was a shock It was freaking Tasha!! Never once did I think she could be capable of something like murdering the Queen.
She always seemed like such a cool person, an ally. But I can see why she did it. I guess I always thought her feelings towards Dimitri were never that strong. I think that she is the best person to help the Moroi move forward and I hope that takes effect in the spin off series. Is that not perfect or what?!? Now they can be together and still do their jobs and duty.
Lord, this book was wonderful. However, I also feel that there were a few loose ends left. A few possibilities that I believe are going to be the focus of the spin off series Bloodlines. First off I want to see what happens to Adrian.
